Bangladesh is one of the world's most densely populated countries with about 160 million people, 26% of whom live below the national poverty line of US $2 per day. In the month of holy Ramadan of each year, there are many poor and helpless people in Bangladesh, who perform their Sawm in Ramadan with a little or without food. Realizing this miserable situation, Islahul Muslimeen Parishad Bangladesh initiated the programme to feed the poor fasting in holy Ramadan at least once a day throughout this month since 2001.
Objectives
1. To encourage the rich to help the fasting poor to learn and practice Islamic norms and values in the society
2. To help the poor to learn and practice recitation of the holly Quran and Masala-Masail of daily life
3. To establish Islamic brotherhood and equity the society according to Sunnah and Shariah.
