Bangladesh is one of the least developed countries of the South Asian Subcontinent. Nearly 85% of the people of this country are dwelling in the rural areas. Agriculture is the key to rural power as well as the cause of rural poverty.
With the growth of population the arable land of the country is getting fragmented into smaller plots as the number of shares within the families increase. The small marginal farmers are always at risk of falling into dependence on to the rich landlords, who act as moneylenders. Many people in Bangladesh turn out to be landless because of the natural disasters and social oppression of the influential groups of the society. There are not enough sources for required income to meet the needs of those landless and underprivileged families. Moreover these poor classes do not get the opportunity to have a proper education. Because of the lack of proper education and acute poverty there are in immense social problems, which very often causes gender problems. The females are the victims of these social evils.
Addressing those social problems Islahul Muslimeen Parishad Bangladesh has taken this non-formal Education Programme to make the society free from non-Islamic activities through Islamic Education and Practices of daily life.
